MOST UPSETTING TO US
Hi my partner J.b and I are writing an assignment on what is most upsetting to us . About these gaps between blacks,Latinos,whites & Asians. As we search for more achievement gaps we found out that the was most upsetting to us is that high school graduates live up to 7 years longer than high school dropouts that was upsetting to us because its true and when people dropout its either a black or a Latino. See J.b and I are black and Latino we know the blacks and Latinos can be as good as any other race only if we stop the things we do and if we try harder to beat the Stero types people put 0n us. Let us give you some examples fighting, gangs and all the above if we can stop all that then we can do anything.

Interesting. What do you mean by all of the above? Do you think that the achievement gap can be overcome? Can you give more examples of the "things" blacks and Latinos are doing to hold them back? Lastly, why are they doing these things, in your opinion?

ReplyDeleteYour post really interest me, but you have to be more specific. Also why do you think fighting influences the way you do academically? Please give extra examples of what to stop doing because if all Blacks and Latinos stop only fighting, that doesn't mean that their grades will magically increase. Although, fighting is only one of the elements of which you have to stop to do better academically.
